Senior Community Services Employment Program
SCSEP is the nation's longest-running program to help low-income individuals, aged 55 and over, to find employment. Our SCSEP case managers help seniors by creating an Individual Employment Plan so they could achieve their goals. They also place seniors in job training opportunities and other resources (housing, food, other assistance, etc.). SCSEP provides job coaching and job search assistance.
The Center for Workforce Inclusion (Center) SCSEP program is funded by a $45.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor. This funding provides 90% of the support for SCSEP with the Center matching 10% or $5 million. SCSEP is an equal opportunity program. Auxiliary aides and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
This program services residents of Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Huntington, and Whitley County.
