About the Collaborative
The Burmese Health Collaborative, an initiative of the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, provides comprehensive health and wellness support to all people of Burmese nationality, regardless of immigration status. Supported by the IU Health Foundation, the Collaborative connects refugees to a network of caring organizations and programs. Culturally trained professionals help meet the unique needs of individuals and families as they settle in a new country. Whenever possible, services are also offered in the language spoken by Burmese nationals.

Catholic Charities’ Burmese Health Collaborative Case Manager
The Catholic Charities’ Burmese Health Collaborative Case Manager is located at Archbishop Noll Catholic Center to assist individuals in connecting with the Refugee Health Collaborative partners and other essential services.
Catholic Charities provides case management services to Burmese nationals newly arriving in the U.S. for up to one year to assist in the initial resettlement process. Email is the preferred method for contact.

The family doctor's office of Dr. Cho Mar Aung, a former Burmese refugee, understands the culture and needs of Burmese patients. Medicaid patients are welcome.

Amani Family Services
Mental health services are available for members of the Burmese community from bi-lingual professionals. Case management services are also offered to members of the Burmese community living in the U.S. to support them in navigating life challenges.

Double Up Indiana
This program offers access to affordable, healthy produce. Each purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables while using a Hoosier Works/SNAP card earns a $1 for $1 match.
