SHP Bed Delivery
“Each night, 2,000+ children in our area who go to sleep without a bed or even a pillow; forced to sleep on the couch, a blanket, or oftentimes the floor. ”
On July 29, our South Bend team, along with volunteers from Sleep in Heavenly Peace - IN, Elkhart Co and Granger Community Church helped deliver 27 beds to children in need.
This comes after our inaugural South Bend Build-A-Bed event held in April, where 170 volunteers built over 100 beds in one day. This effort is to help combat the 2,000+ children in the area that go to bed each night without a bed.
Parents can apply for beds by visiting the Sleep in Heavenly Peace website.
