Over 100 Beds Built for South Bend Children

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, Catholic Charities, the Notre Dame Club of St. Joseph Valley, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace brought together 170 volunteers who built over 100 beds for children. This was the first Build-A-Bed event in South Bend, with the hope of creating a South Bend Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace so beds can continue to be made for children in the area.

And, of course, Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The leadership of Sleep in Heavenly Peace as well as leadership of five chapters from around the Midwest drove in for the build and helped setup.
